I sleep on my side. I'm trying to grow my hair out to one length because I want to take a break from all the layers. My hair grows much faster on the back than on the sides. I thought that was it. But I've noticed that my sides look a bit frizzy compared to the rest of my hair. A friend pointed out that I may have a broken pillowcase. I have really good sheets so I figured there was no way. However, the seed was planted and I decided to give it a try. I noticed a difference in how my hair looked the first night. The hair is definitely straight. I think it helps growth on the sides but it's too early to tell. I am so surprised at how much damage my pillowcase has done.
