An all round bag for trips around town. I bought my son his first ball when he was ten. This version had garlands sewn on the outside and was a bit heavier than it is now. The bag has been cleaned on the outside and more compartmentalized on the inside since it was first used, which by the way has endured 15 years of daily use. He used it about half the time for middle and high school - it doesn't fit more than 3-4 huge textbooks. He used a heavy duty LL Bean for most of his school days and that was on the weekends. I hope it has gotten easier since its time. He then used it full-time in college (computer science) for four years, then lived in New York and Brooklyn for two years. Its black color looked like new. When he asked for a new bag for his Christmas present, I looked around and this item popped up in my search. Why not I thought? And he agreed when he got it. Can't beat this bag. It's very compact but always seems to hold the right amount. It fits very well because it is suitable for rock climbing.
