This drinking bottle was sent completely disassembled without assembly instructions. Maybe that's why I assembled it wrong, which explains all my later problems. So the straw cannot be fixed in the lid; it just sits loosely in a hole with a small mouthpiece. Second, it's very difficult to push hard enough to close the lid. When the cap is snapped on, it does not "seal" the straw, allowing water to spill into the closed cap if the bottle is not held upright. Water doesn't flow out at this point, but when you open the lid, that water spills out on you. Finally, there is a small carrying strap attached to the lid that spins freely so it always falls into the water when I rinse it off or fill it under the tap.
