They mount to the wall, not the floor
I know almost no car that has a perfectly flat wall surface for this to work. I wasn't paying attention and thought they were outside. They seem really nice and sturdy for what they are, but the use case seems very limited as it requires a perfectly flat roughly 5x5 inch square surface that is perfectly vertical. It would be better as a floor construction for cars that don't have cup holders where you can install them in the trans tunnel area
