These kitchen towel rails over the cupboard door are great. Hard to find in any major store. But I think you can get these (or similar ones) at RV stores (like Camping World). This is a very good price on Revain, they expand to fit any size cabinet door or shrink to fit cabinet doors without interfering with other hardware on your doors. You have the option of 1) simply hanging them on the cabinet door, 2) attaching them to the door with double-sided foam tape (supplied), or 3) attaching them to the door with screws (you supply the screws). . If you want to keep them in place, screws are your best bet. But foam tape will work for a while. If you pull the towel rail to open the door (which you will do), the towel rail will most likely come loose. I'm not sure why many reviewers complain about not staying on doors. A simple screw will do forever and won't ruin the look of your closet door.
