Best Gasket I've Ever Used on a Chevy T-Stat Body
Replaced an old gasket on a 1979 454 that was leaking and the body was slightly corroded. I cleaned the case and found that someone used 2 gaskets taped together with the RTV to try to seal it. After installing and tightening to 25 ft lbs the leak is gone and I am very happy, in fact this is the only type of thermostat housing gasket I will be using from now on.
- Easy to install, seals imperfections between the intake manifold and water outlet body.
