I was more than skeptical at first, but surprisingly I'm actually very happy with the results. It's a little strange at first, but over time you get the hang of it. Some say it's only good for the initial set up, but I've found that after the initial set up, as I look at my cleavage for a subsequent shave/trim, my cleavage moves lower and lower. So it's nice to use this once a month to make sure I'm clean, aligned and even and that my cleavage doesn't go halfway down my throat and look silly. I thought I was flat and straight before using this, but realized pretty quickly that I deviated almost half an inch between left and right the first time, and the line itself was askew like a politician.
