I upgraded my HP Envy 750-114 Power Supply Unit (PSU) and after installing the PSU and making all connections, I found that I no longer have the correct cable to connect to my DVD/ had a CD drive. Apparently HP uses a special cable (their cable) that doesn't fit the new PSUs. Anyway, I found out about this adapter and immediately ordered it for same day delivery. As soon as it arrived I plugged in the adapter, the HP cable, added the SATA cable and hooked it up to power. Did. Now everything works. Many Thanks.
