The glue is not very strong.

I bought these to hold my camping felt window covers and they did the job for the most part as long as they weren't in direct sunlight. Daily highs never surpassed 70, and when the sticky side was facing the sun, nearly all fell off. I also used it to make a closed felt bag with Velcro for my tablet, and you have to stick it on with hot glue, because the glue isn't stronger than the Velcro on the other side and it came off immediately. However, once you've glued them on, the velcro itself works great.
