When it comes to shaving, men have no choice. Some swear by older "wet shaving" methods of safety razors or straight razors with shaving foam. While this approach has certainly worked well, it requires care and attention to technique and carries the risk of lacerations. Cartridge razors like the ones you buy from Harry's or Gillette offer a sweet spot in terms of effort. They're designed to be as simple as possible, but you still need to use them with shaving cream for the best shave. Also, the cost of replacing the blades on a regular basis can make this option more expensive over time, although the razors themselves are usually quite cheap. After that, if you have a 5-in-1 razor, life will be easier. This shaver has what you need and the quiet operation meets my expectations. 20 people found it helpful.
