I've had them for a year now. Used them when walking the dog, shopping, and water aerobics. No problem. Last week I ventured into the circular track and went under the wire to get to the circular track. Although I was in the pool, this was the first time they had been fully submerged in water and it was only a matter of seconds. Since then, the right ear volume has been going up and down, and when it works, it's so low it's barely audible. I wouldn't recommend swimming laps, but it's fine for other purposes. So after the dive I went back to another purchase, another brand.
