I have yet to shave with it so I can't comment on the quality of the shave. It's also new, so I can't comment on durability. I bought this product because I am new to razor shaving and would rather throw away $20 than $100. I like her weight, she's quite heavy. This makes me feel a little more confident that I won't accidentally cut my throat while learning the techniques. As another reviewer wrote, it is NOT shave ready; Even as a beginner I felt it immediately. I took it to a local sharpener and for $5 it's a lot closer. I feel like part of the blade barely scratches the inside of the shell (handle) so I'll see if it wears down over time or scratches the blade. The included strap looks and feels cheap. It has a linen side which I like and seems acceptable. I don't trust the leather side and bought a better one. All in all you get what you pay for. I'm sure this won't be the razor I'll shave with for the rest of my life, but for twenty bucks and knowing that it takes a bit of work to prepare it for a shave, it doesn't sound like it after a terrible act.
