This LAPCOS Restore Shot cream looks and feels somewhat heavy in texture, but absorbs well. It has an off-white color and comes in a clear jar.It is strongly fragranced with a floral scent, and fragrance can be a skin irritant. Also, shea butter, isopropyl palmitate and fatty alcohols are very high on the ingredients list. All are good emollients but they may occlude pores for acne-prone or oily skin.The product description emphasizes that it contains hydrolyzed collagen, which is in the middle of the ingredients list. Hydrolyzed collagen is basically a lot of peptides, and they work to strengthen the skin barrier. Hydrolyzed collagen also makes skin feel supple because it's a good moisturizer and humectant.The ingredients also contain acid yellow 23 (CI 19140) dye. While the color looks natural and the amount used is probably very small, I prefer skincare products not to contain added color at all.The cream has a thick-ish texture so it didn't slosh around too much during shipping, but some cream drifted from under the plastic disc and got on the rim of the glass and became a little gummy, but it wasn't a lot.LAPCOS is sorta in a K-Beauty brand in my book. It was founded by a Korean-American, and the business is based in LA, but the products are made in South Korea, including this one.Everything is printed in English on the box and jar. The full ingredients are printed only on the outer box, and an expiration date is clearly marked on the bottom of the box and the jar.However, the ingredients don't seem to be listed anywhere on the product page at the moment, so I'm attaching a snap of the bottom of the box to this review.
