I bought my son a size 12.5. I was happy to see the wide sizing for a wide foot, but he felt the sizing was too long, at least compared to his latest boots, so we didn't keep them. We prefer to buy non-leather shoes for ethical reasons and at first I was happy to see that these shoes are synthetic but when I looked closely at the leather I saw that the plastic was already coming loose in one of the folds. The quality should be a little higher, especially for kids who take serious abuse of their shoes!
