Review on 💻 Intel Core i7-8700 Desktop Processor: 6 Core, Up to 4.6 GHz, LGA 1151 300 Series, 65W Power Consumption by Janis Berzins ᠌

Revainrating 5 out of 5

Everything in the product suited me, the price is generally perfect.

As a result of the cooling provided by Dark Rock 4, the temperature in LinX did not go higher than 76 degrees, whereas in non-synthetic tests it ranged from 62 to 67 degrees Celsius. The performance boost will be obvious when compared with equivalents of the 6.7 generation; in comparison to the 8700, it will be approximately 10-15%. However, there are just six cores instead of eight. As a result, this is an excellent alternative for an update starting from scratch or upgrading older gear. It is unlikely that there will be an improvement made to the preceding generation. In general, AMD did not take into consideration fees for greed because of problems with memory, heating, and so like.

Pros
  • Core i7-9700: At last, 8 complete cores in one package. Instead of using paste, you should use solder because it has a better influence on temperature indications.
Cons
  • No.
