So most of the time if you go with this cable it will work. There was no problem connecting audio to the ports, no problem with my speakers going bad as some users have said. He does what he has to. Allows speakers to be used between two sources. (in my example a switch and a computer) this reduces the sound and quality of one of the devices. If you're just using it to play Netflix or Twitch and maybe some Zelda or Mario, it will do what you need. However, don't expect the audio on Netflix/Twitch to be as clear as it was before the other device was turned on. Sound card/mixer when just one cable does all the work. For those who buy this product and expect it to be sharp and clear on both devices at the same time, it is unreasonable and I would recommend that you consider other options. If you don't want to spend a lot and don't mind a drop in sound and quality (since you just have to focus on another device and possibly raising your speakers), this will do what you need.
