I have been using this food for many years. My dogs can handle it. I adopted my last dog from a shelter and the first thing the vet told me about her was that he needed better nutrition. At this meal he turned over rather quickly. In general, my dogs that are fed this food are healthy with a good coat and healthy teeth. The latter is very important to me. Not many products contain dental supplements. The only thing I would consider wrong is the instructions for the amount of food they should be eating. I give half the amount of food indicated and they seem to be at a good weight.
