Review on 🐾 Downtown Pet Supply Interactive Cat Scratching Sisal Posts Tree and Exerciser for Kitty - Deluxe Interactive Cat Toys (Regular, Premium, Giant, Tall 4-Level Scratch Post) by Jennifer Moore

Cute but unstable

Such a cute pole! It's ideal for small cats that don't carry much weight as the shelves are very short and narrow. The artificial grass does not fuzz and the sisal rope stays in place even after months of use. My main complaint is twofold: the pull rod is difficult to install and unstable. I have 5 cats and bought this for our 3 youngest (2 little cats aged 1.5 years and 1 6 months old). My small cats fly up and down with this thing but even my 8 pounder would tip it over because the pull rod isn't strong enough and the rubber end is difficult to hold and stay flush with the ceiling of their Catio. Maybe this works better for someone with a non-textured ceiling and hardwood floor. I attached it to the closed side of the enclosure with two elastic cords which keeps it secure even with my now 12lb 7m Maine Coon pacing up and down it. It won't work for my big cats in the long run, but it works. Works well for little ones and was a great addition to them! They love to sit upstairs. The photos I've attached are of my 8 lb cat for size comparison.
