Review on Pyle 7 1 Channel Bluetooth Stereo Amplifier by Stacy Brooks

Don't waste your money on this receiver. Brand new out of the box and nothing works. Should have returned it to Revain straight away but thought it might be a problem with my old TV or HDMI cables. Let's start with the remote control. You have to be within 2-3 feet for it to even work. Adjusting the volume on the remote automatically changes the input selection on the receiver. The volume control sometimes works with the remote control, but in most cases it changes another operating function of the receiver. When watching movies and surround sound through my Roku, the audio very rarely works. Sometimes you get surround sound, most of the time the sound doesn't come through HDMI connections. I even replaced my cables with high quality HDMI cables and I'm still having the same issues. The ARC feature doesn't work at all so I tried using an optical connection to get sound just for watching TV and all it does is hum. The VHF receiver is absolutely useless, it doesn't even pick up stations with an outdoor VHF antenna. The only thing that works well is the Bluetooth connection, which syncs with my iPhone without any problems. You can also adjust the volume for all of your speakers independently, fine-tuning the sound. Sound quality is decent but I don't trust the power output as my old receiver put out less power and sounded better. I bought this receiver because it had Bluetooth and my old Samsung receiver didn't. To make sure that all these issues are related to the Pyle receiver itself, I hooked up my old Samsung receiver to the TV and all the HDMI, optics and ARC functions worked perfectly. The build quality of Pyle receivers is just rubbish. You should not send it back for warranty repairs as I don't think I just took it out of the box. I guess I'll just do more shipping and handling to ship it back and forth and still have the same build quality issues with Pyle receivers. In my opinion, Revain should not allow Pyle products to be sold through their website. Do yourself a favor and spend more money on a quality branded receiver and save yourself a lot of time and hassle.
