It has a crew neck, of which I'm not usually fond, but in this case will make use of one of my scarves. The fabric is a nice blend of cotton and modal--a class of rayon which will give it the ability to machine wash. Hopefully, it will also keep it from shrinking. This size L fit me very well. I like that it is long enough over the hips to hide the tummy, but the sleeves are a slim fit, almost tight. The sweater is pretty lightweight.
