Review on πŸ‘™ GINKANA Maternity One Piece Swimsuit with Asymmetric Ruffle, One Shoulder Design - Summer Pregnancy Swimwear, Bathing Suit by Daniel Smith

Small size, there is practically no support at the top

I ordered XXL and it obviously doesn't fit. I only left it for low end use because I live in Florida and it's hot there. I can't walk without a bathing suit, and there aren't any stores near me that sell maternity bathing suits. I looked through all the photos and thought this would be perfect as the top seemed to be touching the top of the bottom. If you have a long torso, they won't fit. There is a big gap. The top generally has ZERO support. It doesn't look scary in the photo, but it feels like I wasn't wearing anything in the top at all. A strip of elastic, about half an inch thick, runs from the top (if so, I'm generous). I've added photos to show the "support" on top and the elastic. It's all that holds up and that holds your boobs. The butt is also stretched as you can see in the photo where I'm turned on my side. The floor is not comfortable for me at all. But I need something so I just bought an oversized tank top to wear. The new top covers this part of the swimsuit. I don't like how it looks, but that's the way it is at the moment. I'm 5'10" and currently 240 lbs. Size XL fits me in maternity shorts and I have several XXL tops. If you are small in shape and look good in a bikini then this swimsuit would be perfect. If you are tall and don't look good in a bikini then this swimsuit is a waste of money Babies this week I absolutely hate these pics and don't want to post them but I need to help other moms trying to find a maternity swimsuit.

Pros
  • Useful not only for its intended purpose
Cons
  • Not everything is as good as it is written
