I let my eight year old daughter choose which winter boots she would like and they were cute and looked like they should be good quality. Kids are picky about shoes, so I don't expect them to wear them for long, but after wearing them, the strap with the buckle came loose on one side, the laces frayed, and the outer material started peeling. Also, they are not waterproof. Her feet got wet after spending about 30 minutes in the snow. I don't normally leave reviews but I was so disappointed with this purchase I thought I'd warn other people. We loved the boots and apart from their good fit they were a complete disappointment.
