Some of the ones I ordered were too small to use, others arrived with very, very tiny textures that weren't high enough to really clean the bristles, and other types of cleaners were too big to mess with. I then pour some brush shampoo onto the mat and get to work, running wet brushes over it in large, circular motions. This rug is great! Remember to dry it after each use to avoid mold!
