Puma, like Fila (the designer I wear), close to the foot and toe, always for me. However, this shoe fits snugly on the top of the shoe. This is how the boot is sewn under the rubber band. I don't like sock shoes or boots or whatever you call those shoes that don't have laces and you have to fight with your foot to get them in. But for these shoes I made an exception because of the style, I love it. Very uncomfortable at first but now after wearing it and washing it for a while the shoes seem more bearable. I get a lot of compliments on these shoes. I have a 10 but I'm glad I got a 10.5, I know it affected the fit. Big. It's a pity that the lower part of the sneakers didn't have gold patches like the first Puma Prowl, but they're comfortable and beautiful shoes nonetheless ;)
