I have high arches, wide toes and plantar fasciitis. I needed dressy shoes and took a chance buying these AKs - I really like them. Because the material they're made of is stretchy, as is the elastic, they fit surprisingly well and the heel doesn't slip. In addition, the wedge is stable and easy to walk on - very fashionable for women of all ages. The only small issue is that there isn't much padding at the balls of the feet, but I will solve this issue by purchasing a half size gel insert. I love these shoes!
