Sturdy enough for a preschooler!
It was surprisingly difficult to find a water bottle for my 3 year old that I could open easily and that was sealed with a straw. We tried about 10 at the local big shop and they all left a lot to be desired. It was waterproof, easy to hold and fitted perfectly in the side pocket of her PBK backpack. We clean it after each use and 98% of the time we use it for water. Every time the straw is removed you will have clumps of mold. It covers the rim and underneath, and with so many parts, it's no surprise. Sad to throw it in the trash after 8 weeks.
