I’ve had this mattress protector on our bed for over a year and a half ( Sept 19-June 2021) and have washed it numerous times. It has served us well so far, but today we had a real test. Our elderly cat with stomach issues took a huge, wet poop right in the middle of our bed. It went straight through our sheets and soaked into this mattress protector and I though for sure it would stain our mattress, but nope! Not even a hint of poo liquid made it through and our mattress is still as clean as the day we bought it.My only complaint is that the zip-on factor makes it very complicated to take on and off… particularly because our mattress is very heavy and requires 2 people to lift.
