My order included 4 bags of beads, wooden applicators, plastic nose applicators and instructions. I used an electric candle heater to melt the beads so I can't comment on other methods. They melted perfectly in the silicone cup, allowing me to melt down the unused wax. The wax set in minutes at most, wasn't too hot to apply, and removed easily with a quick, hard pull. I've never done this before and mostly successful on the first try. I don't think I used enough wax, but it doesn't take much. Give it a try and twist it just enough as directed in the instructions to catch all of the hair. I'll probably need more nasal applicators before I need more wax. I am very happy with the result and the process was very pleasant!
