This is terrible. Yes, I wet them first (as always with cotton swabs, regardless of the brand). This is by far the worst I've ever used. I ended up throwing the whole package away. First, they don't slide smoothly across the face; They pull on your skin, fall apart like crazy so you have to use a few laps, and they leave lint on your clean skin (ugh!). Not to mention they're non-organic, so likely contain pesticides, herbicides, and god knows what else (some reviewers even said they were dirty). My skin looks better when I'm out of toner instead of wasting it on those horrible wipes. Use the Organyc brand. They cost a dollar more, but they actually work.
