Of course, installing the R/R headlight requires removing the grille, front fan cover, and loosening the inside of the wheelhouse cover. However, once the light node was released, removing the old inverter was easy. This replacement unit is a lot smaller than the original, and that's okay. I ended up soldering the wires that needed to be cut and was pleasantly surprised to find that the replacement iJDMTOY Pair CCFL Dual Connector's connections matched the failed device exactly. Hoping to benefit from this/these inverter(s) for a few years. Of course 2 new inverters came with it which was great and also provided security should the 'old' inverter on the other side fail. A much better alternative [and significant cost savings] than a complete headlamp assembly replacement.
