Healthy and Feline Flavored - Not AAFCO Certified :(

Over the past few weeks I have purchased twenty to thirty different types and flavors of cat food in hopes of eventually weaning my cat off their high carb kibble. , It literally is the only one she has licked and seems to be enjoying it very much.As she is older I was hoping to feed my cat a leaner diet with little or no carbs.Cat food these days is grain free, very few of which are carb-free. Cats naturally don't eat a lot of carbs compared to the amount of protein they eat, and older cats with a slower metabolism aren't very good at burning high-calorie carbs. My cat has already started to gain weight, so I'm a lot happy that this food is grain and carbohydrate free egg is high in protein and water to keep my cat as healthy as her. The only downside is that they are literally meat and water and nothing else - elements of a healthy cat diet. This would be the only cat food I buy if it was AAFCO certified to fully meet a cat's nutritional needs. In the meantime, I feed my cat this along with her regular dry food to give her the best of both worlds. She won't eat anything else.
