They're great for tired shins and weak ankles. The only problem I have ever had with Dr. Movement is a sock's tendency to rip off the top band when you put it on. It doesn't happen right away, but after a few washes you'll find that you need to be a little gentler with the top band. Otherwise you will break them. This is more pronounced on patterned socks (billiard balls, dogs, soccer, basketball motifs) so I'm assuming this is the result of interweaving different colors. But they are very supportive.
