This simple stainless steel water bottle looks like plastic in the photo and in person, but it really is stainless steel. It looks plastic because I believe it's encoded in a layer of plastic. This allows them to add a matte finish and shine to the core on the outside of the bottle. I have a bottle of "Leon" that is a "beautiful" color. I really like the unique color. Something else. The empty bottle weighs 9.38 ounces. It measures almost 10 inches tall. Its width is 2 ½ inches. This slim bottle is packed in a white cardboard box. So if you give it as a gift, it is very easy to wrap. The only thing that might make this bottle a little bit better for me would be if it had some kind of strap or loop so you could easily attach it. this is for the backpack. However, I really love this bottle of water. Made in China.
