Pro Racks ($105) (4) Sandbags ($25) (1) 43" 5 Color Reflector ($30) and still have $220 left over for things like card storage, business cards, batteries, clips, tape, cold shoes, website , gas, food, beer, assistant, etc. Or a really good tripod, and then you already have shutter control - TTL is not needed. You shouldn't use TTL professionally (because it's a crutch, there's usually nothing "bad" about it). - You can STILL buy two PWXs with that $220 and still have $20 left. But unless you're upgrading to studio lighting (like the AB1600), you really don't need this versatility. You don't have backup lighting if your single SB-900 explodes, breaks, or fails while on the job. like Energizer 2500 mAh batteries. I can use any other brand of rechargeable AA batteries, but not these Energizers. It's not the batteries themselves either, as they work in everything I've tested. The plastic stand that comes with the kit is comfortable to use but not stable or balanced. Also, it doesn't work well with a connector for things like light stands (easy to remove). Get yourself a real cold shoe to attach this thing to your stand. The bag is very nice and quite well padded. Absolutely no sync issues with my other YN products. No stress. Works seamlessly with my Nikon DSLRs and Fuji mirrorless cameras. ** The flash is fully manual so don't expect TTL. It's big and bright. It goes from 1/1 power to 1/128 and does 1/3 stops with most increments. The zoom is a bit noisy but it works great and still works. on par with top-end Nikon/Canon flashes (and those $280 Lumopros). I can shoot with my Fuji at 1/4000 and F.4 and still get the full light output. YMMV. This requires a hot shoe cable and a central shutter. The only thing I can't comment on here is the color consistency/accuracy. It's always been perfectly accurate for what I do, but I'm not a product photographer and I don't need precisely calibrated colors. But if that's what you're looking for, you should be looking at $1,000+ studio lights, not strobe lights.
