Cannot use USB-C to USB-C chargers

It would be great if you could use USB-C to USB-C cables to use with a hub. I've just tested this with various USB-C to USB-C chargers/cables and for some reason it won't work. It works with USB-A to USB-C cables/chargers. I've tested this with the Anker Wall Charger and Anker Portable Bank that I usually use. When I travel or spend a day doing it, all I have to think about is to take a USB-A to USB-C cable instead of a USB-C cable to charge my phone, gopro and insta360.
