Review on Thgonwid Handmade Footstool Ottoman Leather Furniture by Brenda Finlinson

Zipper broke before full enough

Zipper broke when stuffed with fiberfill. I put about 10 pounds of fiberfill in this stool before the slider came off my teeth trying to close it. I managed to get the zipper back on my teeth by cutting the zipper tape and sewing everything back onto the cut end, which was difficult and annoying. However, this stool still doesn't have enough height or enough support. I have another floor chair that I made out of upholstery fabric and stuffed onto it with heavy fabric (old jeans etc) and fiberfill and it hurts to move. Even if I stuffed it with something more permanent, it would either be crooked like my other stool or very heavy. goes well with our interior. I bought this as a nursery footstool after my first child used my glider as a high speed swing and I was no longer able to use the lounger in the living room as a footstool. I didn't want to buy an overpriced stool or footstool as I don't see a need for it in the long run. I ended up leaving this ottoman in the living room where my kid likes to use it for cruising and I was able to take the IKEA ottoman to the kids room in the meantime. This stool could serve us for years, but I was disappointed that it didn't live up to expectations for its intended purpose.

Pros
  • High test results for hold and durability
Cons
  • I'm concerned about this
