Review on Sushi Roll Starter Kit - 11-Inch for Easy Rolling by Troy Robinson

Revainrating 5 out of 5

I have three of the best in bowls

This is a lie, I only have one and I bought two for my sons and their families. I bought mine from a vendor on a holiday in Santa Cruz over 20 years ago before this brand called it by its name. I spent 3.5 years in Japan and loved sushi but mine was always lumpy and crumbly so I stopped making them. I tried every kit before buying this one. This thing makes sushi a breeze. It is wrapped in the style of "maki" with stuffing inside and seaweed. The video shows the preparation of the California roll. I will try that. You can make as much dense, straight sushi as rice in no time. My car has probably been used 1000 times and is as strong and clean as the day I bought it. I don't know the quality of this manufacturer but the design is like mine. Try flavoring the rice with some chicken powder along with rice vinegar and mirin. Has the meaning. Dip the plunger in water and wet the knife and fingers a little, otherwise the starch will grab, stick and ruin everything. I just made four and will be eating one at a time. . . currently!

Pros
  • GIFT IDEA A sushi maker is one of the top ten gifts any sushi lover will love. Whether you're a sushi fan or not, you probably know someone who is crazy about sushi, right?
Cons
  • Big and bulky
