So I bought my first set for me and my boyfriend about 11 months ago. I got snagged on something a while ago and the rope broke so I ordered a new set for us as I can't just order one. The only reason it broke was because it got tangled up on something and it broke as a result. Other than that I've never had a problem with it and I love it a lot. I always get compliments on it and will definitely buy it again as gifts for friends and family. It's also definitely obsidian. It looks like it's made of glass, but I've accidentally bumped into enough objects and it hasn't broken at all, so it's definitely real and not glass. Absolutely worth the money
