When backing up my laptop I need to back up to CDs and not a portable hard drive, probably because of its age so I needed a case that could hold at least ten CDs so I could keep them all in one place. . It's thin so doesn't take up much space and fits easily in my computer's accessory basket. This CD case is stronger than it appears in the photos. The actual slots inside the case are thicker than I expected. The case closes with a latch and ensures the safety of the CD during storage or transport. The color is glossy red and looks nice which I didn't care as long as it serves the purpose I need it for. I received this item at a discount in exchange for my honest and unbiased review.
