Awesome Hat! Very comfortable and perfect for the tail! I liked it so much that I wore my first one and had to buy a new one. Don't get me wrong, it's durable. And fat. The only reason mine is worn is because I washed it and it has edges (they didn't recommend that). I washed it in a laundry bag on a cold/delicate temperature and hung it to dry. I just washed too many times in the machine with a stirrer. My hat was also 3 years old. So take that into account. It started to unravel right at the edge of the edges (where it would rub endlessly in a washing machine). So I don't blame the company in any way. In fact I think it has held up exceptionally well, especially the edges because it has stayed intact and has never sagged despite all the washings I've put it through.
