We carry two adult dogs (both weigh about 5lbs each. It doesn't sink in the middle whether we use the hand straps or the shoulder strap. They have sections on the sides, to see what makes our dogs less anxious. There is a top entry and one on the side depending on what your dog prefers. Once we open the sides the dogs are able to spread out and not even hard on each other. We were there two different planes with dogs, on both we have to pull down a little the metal that helps to keep its shape to free up the vertical space under the seat, but it doesn't seem to damage the bag even if we feel like it , that we bend it.. It doesn't go all the way under the seat, but until the flight attendants have punished us.
