works great for polishing metals, I use it for rough polishing knives, I also use it to straighten the cutting edge on a piece of leather I use it as follows for polishing the blade: I squeeze out a tube of about 3-5 mm of paste onto the blade, then I plan to distribute it over the surface of the blade, then I polish it with paper with either rotational or translational movements, then I use a finer-grained paste
