I used my back lift from the floor to my work surface and didn't get sick for four days. I was a little skeptical but after some research on the internet (lying in bed) I bought this brace in the hope that it would help relieve the pain associated with sideways movements and twisting of the upper body - it arrived on the fourth day of illness and was fitted promptly . Not only did it reduce the movement pains in my body, but I was able to go back to work the next day and continue with light tasks. I know very little about the mechanics of the human body but having used the belt over the weekend now I feel that a little more support would be desirable when I sit down to help my lower back curvature. Reaching back and placing my flat hand between my spine and the belt, I felt a little more comfortable. There are a few semi-rigid boning at the back (maybe some kind of plastic), maybe a few more boning closer to the spine to give the spine a little extra support. Well done and thanks to the people who designed it. and make this support, this is a wonderful product and is greatly appreciated.
