Read other reviews I can't understand how I even have the same product. When I received the lamp I was impressed with how easily and securely it attached to my bedside table, the three different brightness levels, and how I was able to free the bedside socket and charge it without leaving it plugged in. I actually tried using it for reading with the other light off. It faded very quickly and became too dark to read after a few pages. I charged it all night but it still dims after a few minutes. Reading when plugged in is even more fun, each time the red charging indicator flashes and the light flashes like a strobe light. absolutely useless. Still randomly dims when I thought it was well charged, but now I can read when plugged in.
