These CDs will NOT work. I have been using rewritable discs in my Philips CD burner for many years. In fact I still have 2 TDK CDs that I bought a few years ago and they are great! One big difference between the two I recently bought and the good two I bought earlier: the latter did NOT have an icon that looked like this: Digital Audio Rewritable CD When I put new CDs in my Philips CD burner, it said it "Busy" for a long time. time and then said No sound - apparently they were formatted for the computer and not the CD burner. Conclusion: they don't work. I threw them away. I was hoping, especially when the description said 'No Longer Made', that they would be taken from overstock.
