The eyeshadow was very powdery which makes blending a bit easier. If you really want the pigment, glitter and color to show, I recommend applying 2-3 coats of color first before blending and applying to get a nice finish. White eyeshadow works well for the inner corner of the eye, but not as a base color. The applicator that comes with the kit is very nice and easy on the eye, although I suggest using your own set of separate brushes. .
