50ft cable doesn't support 4K@60Hz
The 50ft cable doesn't do 4K@60Hz for me. Works 99% of the time, but random video drops. The cable advertises a full speed of 18 Gbps up to 50 feet, your luck may vary. Sending and ordering 40ft will update the review if 40ft doesn't work. EDIT: Revised 1 star rating. A 40ft cable will not pass any 4K@60hz signal at all. It performs even worse due to the fact that its diameter is smaller than the 50fit cable. I've tried the cables both ways just to make sure they don't mix up the "signal" and "source" ends. These cables do not match the advertised 18Gbps speeds for 4K@60Hz.
