This was my second pair of Crocs. My first pair was the "Original style" with vents on the front of the Croc. That's exactly what I was looking for this time. This style minimizes the dirt and moisture from morning dew getting into the Croc when working outdoors, even if it's an open heel shoe. For me, that's a big plus of this style. The unexpected thing about this style is that you should probably go up a size. This style is tight! One reviewer pointed out that this is a means for the company to "cut the material of the product," which may or may not be true. I recently had the opportunity to visit a Crocs outlet store and I believe that is more of a style cue than a material cut. This style appears narrower in the arch. Keep in mind that this style is men's/women's shoes.
