Review on ๐Ÿ“ธ Pocket 2 and Osmo Pocket Compatible Freewell Wide Angle & Anamorphic Lens with ND Filter by Deejay Devarashetty

Revainrating 2 out of 5

Nice but not satisfied

Anamorphic lens with ND filters is a nice addition to Pocket 2. Tested several scenarios and got some interesting results. Pro1. If used correctly, you can create a beautiful video with this tiny kit.2. Item arrived well packaged and in a case good enough to hold the lens and filters. Therefore, it is easy to take them with you.3. The ND filter is small enough to fit snugly on Pocket 2's lens, and Pocket 2 will recognize the lens. Disadvantages1. Weak magnets. The magnets in a Freewell anamorphic lens are very weak. Even when properly seated, a vigorous shake or squeeze can throw a small lens2 away. Installing neutral density filters is even more difficult. I tried several alignments to make sure they fit the lens properly. It is difficult to get correct alignment (especially without touching the lens or glass). The documentation provided in the kit does not show how to properly install the filters.3. Installing ND filters on a Freewell anamorphic lens makes its magnet even weaker. So it's easy to knock it out of the pocket 4/2. The tote bag is good but I would have preferred it to be a bit smaller so it would be easier to pack and carry around.
