Review on FIBBR Crystal HDMI Cable Ultra by Rich Ferguson

I bought this optical HDMI to prevent lightning damage to my Samsung One Connect device. Although the box is hidden behind a panamax zip, 3 separate One Connect boxes were pulled out (Samsung no longer makes this box, and with good reason). So I assumed the lights were plugged into the only other copper connector, and that was the HDMI cable. So when I connected my TIVO box to my One Connect, I got HDCP warnings. I restarted everything, still got the HDCP warnings but left the machines powered on and see if they ended up shaking hands and they did. The next day, however, I was back to square one. The only solution was to reset everything and wait for them to shake hands. It's just not the best long-term plan. So I went back to standard HDMI. I suspect One Connect is to blame, but that's where the copper worked, and the optical isn't that easy to return. Unfortunately I waited too long to return it
